Sweet Dreams Yoga Nidra
So many people experience sleep issues. By alleviating daily stress and anxiety, Yoga Nidra may help improve sleep. For those with insomnia, it can help with falling asleep more easily and encourages a more restorative sleep state. Yoga Nidra promotes physical, emotional, and mental relaxation which improves the quality of your sleep.
Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation -- there are no physical movements or poses -- it uses deep breathing and mindfulness techniques to calm the mind and relax the body. During Yoga Nidra, you’re not doing anything but laying in a comfortable position, usually on your back, and listening to the sound of my voice which will allow your body to relax deeply.

Fridays 9-10am
Yin Yang Yoga
In this class we will work with some active I AM Yoga standing postures and traditional Yin yoga postures. Yin is more internal, passive, cooling, and downward. It works on the connective tissues and joints, stimulating the meridians (energy channels) bringing balance to the organs in the body
A Yang style yoga is more external, energetic, warming and upward, strengthening the body, improving circulation and flexibility.
Yin Yang Yoga brings together the benefits of both styles of yoga, passively holding Yin yoga poses with more energetic I AM sequences and standing postures ultimately balancing body and mind.
Props that may be used in class include but are not limited to bolsters, straps, blankets, blocks, pillows…
